Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3, 2026, and join us in beautiful Downtown Buchanan for a day filled with family fun, live entertainment, shopping, delicious food, and community spirit!

Featuring the Return of the Famous Chili Walk!

• Chili Participants will be lined down Front Street between Oak Street and Red Bud Trail. (same as Sip!) and in local restaurants.

• Participants will need to bring a pop-up canopy, no larger than 12x12, a table, and chairs (if desired).

• Participants are responsible for setting up and tearing down their booth.

  • Participants must be set up by 2:30. Set up begins at 1:30.

  • Participants may not tear down until the conclusion of the walk. Any participants that take down early will be excluded from participating the following year.

• Electrical outlets will be provided.

• Any business in the Buchanan District (City, Township, and Bertrand Township) may participate.

• Restaurants from outside the district may also participate, pending space.

After many years, we're excited to bring back one of Buchanan's most beloved traditions—the Chili Walk! 🍲🌶️

For just $5 per spoon, you'll receive a commemorative tasting spoon that allows you to sample every chili entry throughout downtown. Local restaurants, businesses, organizations, and community members will compete for bragging rights as attendees vote for their favorite chili. Whether you love mild, smoky, spicy, or sweet, there's something for everyone!

Harvest Fest has something for every age, making it the perfect way to spend a beautiful fall Saturday with family and friends.

Rain or shine, we’re ready! In the event of inclement weather, the Chili Walk will move to Lehman’s Farmhouse & Brewery at 204 Red Bud Trail N, Buchanan.
