Fernwood Botanical Garden

Part of the Story

As Elaine Rowland walks along the path she points out a garden dedicated to her grandmother who spent many fond hours tending to the flowers. Further down the trail, she recalls one of her earliest memories: she was mesmerized by the glowing Christmas lights as her grandfather pulled her sled through the snow covered gardens. As she turns a corner she laughs as she remarks how boldly her own children now run through the grounds claiming them as their own and states, "I guess Fernwood has always been a part of my journey."
