Over our 4-year history, Buchanan Pride has become a staple Pride event in the Michiana area, and we invite you to come experience the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at this event. We have an exciting Vendor Market planned and an entertainment lineup that is sure to please, from recurring favorites to some local gems!
Our Pride vendor market opens at 1 pm and is presented by Zen Leaf; featuring everything from locally crafted goods to vintage clothing to all kinds of Pride items. We will have food vendors serving up sweet and savory treats, and we’ll have info at the Pride Booth on local restaurants open during Buchanan Pride. We currently have over 30 vendors registered. Our Pride entertainment line-up is presented by Cannavista Wellness and will keep your groove going all day long. Ultrafab returns as our headliner, and the program also includes highlights from last year’s Buchanan’s Got Talent contest and auditions for this year’s contest, set for August 14th. We will also feature a popular young local musician, Hank Nelson, affectionately known as the Singin’ Gritter. The event concludes with a dance party on the Common featuring DJ Chuck Fry. We are very pleased to report that Buchanan’s new downtown streetscape is complete and looks beautiful. No construction this year, so no issues accessing the beautiful Buchanan Common at 122 Days Avenue in Buchanan. Get out your pride finery and dancing shoes for a party that will bring joy and good vibes to your summer!
